We can move the scooter to a dry and ventilated place, remove the controller, dry the water on the surface with a clean soft cloth and use a hairdryer to dry it before installing it. After installation, we can also wrap the controller with plastic film to increase the waterproofing capacity.

Similar to how to deal with a waterlogged scooter controller, we need to wipe the rainwater off the motor with a clean soft cloth and park it in a ventilated and dry place. It is a good idea to leave it ventilated for 48 hours or more before starting the next ride to ensure that the rainwater inside the motor is completely evaporated.
What should we do if the battery of the electric scooter gets water?
Electric scooters generally have an IP waterproof rating. Usually, most of the electric scooters on the market can only prevent water splashing, which means that we cannot ride electric scooters to "walk through" in the water arbitrarily.
